Shaolin Kungfu
Shaolin Kungfu is a martial art that is perfected in the stillness of motion, the unity of body
and mind and the realization of the great wisdom compassion that is know as Bodhicitta. The
twenty eighth patriarch of the Buddha Bodhidharma established the Chan (Dhyana, Zen)
teachings at the Shaolin temple and emphasized kungfu as a means to strenghen the body and
mind so that the realization of enlightenment will come swiftly. Together we practice
Shaolin Kungfu forms, standing postures, qigong, sitting Chan meditation, walking Chan
meditation, contemplation, and dialectics in a unified and cohesive system so that the one
taste awareness of wisdom mind will be realized.
Uniting the body with the mind the great state of Bodhi is obtained!!!
